Sorry Pen's fans.. but Milbury and NBC are a bunch of tools that blindly promote Crosby. (Yeah, I'm biased, but keep reading)
Game 1 has been a great game so far... love the flow of play, some great playoff hockey... but the NBC "commentators" are a joke. I realize Crosby's a bigger "name" nationally then Malkin (which is also all the NHL's fault) ... who's up for the Hart trophy for NHL MVP this season? ... that would be Ovie and Malkin...
1. Why is there NO talk about Geno.. he is great, give the guy some love! (Oh, and please don't wake him up this series, cause so far today he is quiet)
2. Just because you can speak hockey terminology does NOT mean you should be a national announcer ...
Milbury: "Crosy is almost as physical as Ovechkin" ... seriously!?! There's a reason real NHL fans believe you're a joke Milbury ... besides perception, just look at the stats... for the season Ovechkin is ranked 9th in hits at 243... Crosby (and Malkin for that matter) is sitting tied and rank 248 and only 80 hits (one behind the Coyotes Winnik to give you all a perfect reference point... yeah, Winnie who played just barely over half a season's worth of games). You're credibility is crap if you're spewing that Sid's 80 hits means he's even close to as physical of a player as OV is with his 243.
I'm just a hockey fanatic, not a guru who knows tons about the sport like Panger.. but if even I know w/o even looking up the stats that Milbury is full of shit, he shouldn't be on the air with this bullcrap.
Ok, whew! .. done with that... Let's go CAPS!!! -

Yeah...I hear ya. It's quite disgusting at times and it even makes it hard to watch the games when announcers do that kind of thing. That's a huge reason why I hate watching RedWings games too...the announcers just can't seem to get off their jock long enough to actually call the game unbiased and properly. -

dayaaam! Ducks puttin up quite a fight. 3 OTs? I hate them... this is gonna be such an epic battle... but u know... rootin for the wings and the hawks could create one of the best wetern conf battles. Hawks have been mortal enemies of the Ded all season... shooters battle for all the western marbles could be one hell of a semi final round for the cup add BOS vs WSH in the east and man oh man... -

GO CAPS!!!!!!!!!!!! i got one other definition for ya....."semyonitis" when a rookie goalie totally embarasses last years stanley cup runnerups....i despise all the rest of the western conference left, and just...don't....care about the canucks...the swedish twin elves just make me wanna take a nap...caps vs anybody, but i don't need a villain in the finals..vanilla will be perfectly fine and get melted by some DC salsa served up russian style... -

If this Detroit - Anaheim series actually goes to a game 7 and its in Anaheim I would seriously consider getting tix. And root for the Ducks to kill the Wings. Simply because I've never been to a playoff game and I'd hold out hope that they'd eliminate the Wings. Which they won't... lol That would be so cool!! I would get a Hiller t-shirt... but they don't make them. I love Hiller! Wouldn't wear any other duckie gear other than Hiller. Might sport a Parros Molestor-stache just for kicks. HA! -

Wow, was a crazy beautiful game... just beautimous!! Great saves, awesome hattie's by the two superstars (hopefully as the series progresses a few of the other stars will start waking up... besides Geno, sorry bud, but just take it easy the rest of the way would ya?

LOL Greenie rocks a mohawk alot and thats what I was referrin to. he has even dyed it Crazy Cap Red. The kid looks like a punk rocker gone preppy but couldn't bear to give up his do.

no problemo those crazy Caps are capable of just about anything hard to keep up with all their antics... they are having so much fun and their management 'gets' it. The fans are in on all the fun and they have such cool information stufff. They even have a site specially for their women fans! Iz no wonder they are my 1B... besides their major Russian presence (you know how much I love my Russkies and Czechs) -
