Well said mo. Sorry I’ve disappeared as of late and having been putting in as much or commenting as much (been busy prepping for the new life that God has blessed me and my wife with) and school and other things, but I’ve been following the team just as intensely as ever. That playoff race down the stretch was a dog fight, Bryz went through a lot this year, and this stupid battle with the GWI has definitely had the fans go through an emotional roller coaster. I appreciate your thoughts, insight, and work you put not only into this blog, but the public awareness of the Coyotes as well. I hope this site keeps running along with the Yotes staying in Glendale and a eventually a Stanley Cup. Well said, and good season as well. Looking forward to the next one. Sincerely, all in for 2011-2012 Coyotes.

If the CoG fights as hard as the Coyotes do this might come down to the wire but hopefully the City will walk away with the win. It looked like the 1 -2 punch of the unexpected trade and the GWI threat heating up would put the boys under but in true Coyotes fashion the kids are fighting their way back.

This win was just another example of the power of will to win and putting the bad behind you and ploughing forward no matter what obstacles are placed in your way. I guess the old saw about hockey being more than a game is true. The lessons this game teaches are never ever give up, learn from your mistakes and keep pressing forward. Do the right things and you will get rewarded. Sounds a lot like the game of life rather than a sport doesn’t it?

That was fun. No understatement there. I enjoyed waching all the dead things fans crawl back to their holes after the game was over.

This team is a lot of things but there isn’t any quit in them. They hung in there. And as you pointed out, when you keep fighting and clawing to stick around, good things happen.

Here’s hoping Hulsizer and the COG approach GWI in the same fashion with a similar outcome. What a screwed up ride this has been. I can’t believe how seedy the situation is and how bad many aspects of this smell.

You are entitled to your opinion. I think Hulsizer was pretty clear. The deal is done, the hold up on the closure is trying to save the City some grief and some interest. Ball is in Goldwater’s court… sue or get off the pot and stop calling everyone connected and insinuating a suit is coming. Bad cess for everyone needs to stop. Time for all to work together to mitigate as much bad as possible.

So the city is just going to agree to pay more then the already high cost?? Hulsizer chose his words very carefully if you read it. I think this deal is crumbling away.

Totally agree! These guys are the epitome of great hockey. When they find a hole in their game, they fix it asap. No slides, at least nothing dangerous, those 3 game downers kill teams in the West and so far we have avoided that trap.

It speaks to just how good our staff is that they are able to adjust the message when needed to keep the team buying in to the system. It speaks to how good our leadership is that no matter what the adversity (ownership, injury, slumps) the team keeps playing for each other. Giving your all night after night after night can’t be easy but these guys have formed a special bond and it really shows now.

It is a GREAT time to be a Coyotes fan! Right there with ya… all in for 2010!

This is honestly what I have been foreseeing the Coyotes play like all season, 7 straight victories with Bryzgalov posting shut outs night after night. Not many other teams have the depth (and talented depth at that) like the Yotes do. The thing I love most about this team is that it is never just one guy that is leading the charge, it seems as though every night it is different players that step up and make the key play, hit, or goal. This is the perfect time for this team to be peaking and I wouldn’t expect anything less in the post-season. As always, all in for the 2010-2011 Coyotes!

It was more like a tearjerker than a snoozer, I know I was practically crying. Hopefully it will be the low point of our season. Much like the Sharks the year we whipped ‘em 8 – zip and they went on a tear after, hopefully we were paying attention and will do the same thing. This little 3 win streak is a great start.

People say all the time that Doaner is a great leader. I guess this is another notch in the legend of Shane Doan’s leadership.

i am surprised you had so much to say about the vancouver game since it was such a snoozer. in fact that game was the only coyote game i have ever gone to that i left early because it was so unwatchable. at least we bounced back here recently and i think your right that players only meeting that doaner called.that must have something to do with their better play.
